This eight panel door style blends with almost any home style. It can have a Contemporay look, as well as a Victorian, Colonial, or other looks, depending upon a number of factors. The equal panel size also complements well our ten and fifteen lite french doors, which have equal glass panel sizes. When this door is made in a flat panel style, called arts and crafts, or mission style, it can have a very contemporary look. In a raised panel style, it looks good in both modern contemporary, and homes with mixed styles of architecture. This door style has a clean crisp look, guaranteed to look good in any home style.

Flat Panel Door is made up of three parts:

• Panels- Raised Panels float within the frame of the door, and are not glued to allow for expansion and contraction of the door panels. Raised Panel doors styles can have either horizontal or vertical panels.* All horizontal panels have horizontal wood grain.
• Stiles- The two long vertical pieces on each side of the door. One side is attached to the door jamb with hinges. The other side is bored for the door knob or lever, so that it can be latch to the jamb when shut.
• Rails- the horizontal and/or vertical pieces in the door that surround the panels and attach to the stiles.
