Ash Arts & Crafts Mission Standard 12 Panel Flat Panel Bifold Door

This door design has the most panels of any standard door that we offer. Whether done in our raised panel style, or as flat panel arts and crafts or mission style door, it is sure to create a conversation. When used with a wood that stains nicely, such as an oak, ash, or hickory door, the detail in the design combined with the grain detail is beautiful.

Our Arts and Crafts or Mission Style Standard 12 Panel Flat Panel Bifold Door is made up of three parts:

• Panels- Panels float within the frame of the door, and are not glued to allow for expansion and contraction of the door panels. Panel doors styles can have either horizontal or vertical panels.* All horizontal panels have horizontal wood grain.
• Stiles- The two long vertical pieces on each side of the door. One side is attached to the door jamb with hinges. The other side is bored for the door knob or lever, so that it can be latch to the jamb when shut.
• Rails- the horizontal and/or vertical pieces in the door that surround the panels and attach to the stiles.
