Ash Arts & Crafts Mission Inverted 3 Panel Raised Panel Bifold Door

This three panel design is the same as the three panel #5550, except the panels are inverted. It has a very clean arts and crafts, or mission style look. Doing the door in a flat panel design would make it more contemporary looking, while producing this door in the raised panel design gives it a more traditional look.

Our Arts and Crafts or Mission Style Inverted 3 Panel Raised Panel Bifold Door is made up of three parts:

• Panels- Panels float within the frame of the door, and are not glued to allow for expansion and contraction of the door panels. Panel doors styles can have either horizontal or vertical panels.* All horizontal panels have horizontal wood grain.
• Stiles- The two long vertical pieces on each side of the door. One side is attached to the door jamb with hinges. The other side is bored for the door knob or lever, so that it can be latch to the jamb when shut.
• Rails- the horizontal and/or vertical pieces in the door that surround the panels and attach to the stiles.
